Everyone has their rights until they need them. Caught between a deeply  entrenched Administration and hostile Faculty Association, the students at Brandon University stand to loose the whole semester because the earliest arbitration deadline is December 12th and they have been without classes for forty days. This .3% of the 3000 students of BU have been camping out in subzero Manitoba weather and the student body have clearly not supported the Occupiers stand between the two adversaries.

No one considers the fact that each of these students have paid their tuition and have fulfilled their obligation to work and produce for their professors. By their payment they have entered into a contract with the University and they should have a voice in the negotiations for settlement. The 99.7% of students who have chosen to be silent victims of educational abuse are too flacid to show their feelings. They might be seen as being UNPOPULAR by supporting a very valid and honorable Occupy Movement. No Rights = No Voice. The Administration have gone out of their way to tell the students that voluntary withdrawal from their courses will kick in two weeks after the strike is settled.
