The Dominion is the Media Co-op's flagship publication. 1100 copies are printed six times per year. It brings in subscriber and advertising revenue, and the print publication is a key sustainer's benefit, one that is not available for free online. The Dominion features some of the strongest journalism being produced by the Media Co-op network. Publishing the paper requires substantial staff resources.

Print publishing
Just gonna say, I love print publishing. As much as website traffic is something we should encourage, and is a great vehicle for more involvement, I think it's pretty amazing that the Media Co-op is able to keep producing a print publication with quality, grassroots journalism. I also think it's great to have something you can hold in your hands-- it stands out from the sometimes overwhelming flow of news on the internet. I would love to see the magazine reaching more people, and also for locals to feel (more?) excited about sharing & contributing to the magazine.
