"Making love is not just becoming as one, or even two, but becoming as a hundred thousand."
--Deleuze and Guattari
The Dominion's Sexuality section seeks to shed light on some of the many sexually significant issues facing people who live in Canada by providing useful, stimulating coverage of topics that are rarely prioritized in corporate media. Midwifery legislation, reproductive rights (particularly in regards to Indigenous women), men's sexuality, contraceptive politics, trans people's needs and struggles, contemporary porn culture, the medicalization of menstruation, queer legal and social battles, impotence (the Viagra phenomenon), herbal abortificants and controversial perceptions of pleasure are only a few of the many avenues that, if investigated through a journalistic lens, could promote a deeper understanding of a body of sexual politics that is highly relevant, and seldom tapped into.
Articles are limited to either 800 or 1400 words, and the deadline for submissions is the 15th of every month.
