A few years ago BP launched their new "Beyond Petroleum" plan to invest in renewable energy. They subsequently gave up on it, and currently have a partnership with Husky, a Canadian company which has the rights to extract oil from tar sands deposits in Alberta, Canada. The images depict street theater carried out on April 10, 2010 in Oxford, England, by Thames Valley Climate Action.
