RE: THUNDERCHILD FIRST NATIONS; -SUNDANCE PROJECT-
Hi People we are from a first nations reserve located in Northern Saskatchewan.
In the past few days we have received information, that there is seismic and drilling that would be taking place on our first nations land, a majority of our community members were unaware of any of this going on or in making.
we were informed that this was decided on by our Chief -Delbert Wapass and our headmen along with the input of a few elders. they have set charges in on of our valleys where there are homes and along with our ceremonial sundance grounds, they plan to drill underneath our ceremonial grounds, some of these holes with dynamite are not far from homes of people with children. they seem to be working much quicker now that we have caught wind of what is going on. they are already detonating some of the dynamite. if there is anyone who is willing to come help us with our protest to stop feel free to we would really appreciate. so far there is only a few of us WOMEN who are standing in front of their equipment and try to stop this from happening, we can't really seem to get our community members involved or they just don't care. Please come help us with this fight we do need help, we are only Women and only a few I don't know if we can change anything but we are still trying. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
