Foster Parents Denied Insurance

A picture of a letter from an insurance company is circulating on social media, from a woman named Samanth Cambridge who says that her parent's house insurance is being cancelled due to 'risk factors', specifically foster children.

Wawanesa Insurance sent a letter to my parents telling them that they were canceling our house insurance immediately due to "risk aggravating circumstances". These "circumstances" are the young foster children that my parents are taking care of. A company that discriminates against families because they believe that infants pose a threat to their profit margin is not a company that I will be supporting in the future. I urge anyone who uses Wawanesa to consider switching insurance carriers. Children in the foster care system already face countless obstacles; it isn't fair that an insurance company considers them a liability solely because of something completely out of their control.
