Severe election day repression in Honduras

Video evidence that the November 29 elections in Honduras were neither free nor fair. Filmed in San Pedro Sula, where police used water cannons and tear gas to break up peaceful road blockades. Canada congratulated Hondurans on the election. Canada's junior foreign minister said the elections "appear to have been run freely and fairly," despite no independent election observers being present at the polls.
