Join the Montreal Media Co-op for the very special soirée: launch of the March/April edition of The Dominion, with a special focus on the Idle No More movement.
Featuring a provocative and thoughtful art installation on media censorship by local, Montreal artist Seb Evans.
Robin Dianoux will present his photography project,'Indigenous Youth Living in Montreal.'
This photo journalism story is an opportunity to learn more about the reality of the lives of the young, urban Aboriginals who are often unheard in the Canadian society despite their growing numerical importance and the fragile situations some have to face.
There will be also be a few short film screenings.

Joignez-vous à la Coop média de Montréal pour une soirée spéciale: le lancement de l'édition mars/avril de la revue « The Dominion », avec un regard spécial sur le mouvement Idle No More.
Avec une installation artistique évocatrice et éclairée sur la censure médiatique, par l'artiste montréalais Seb Evans.
Robin Dianoux présentera son projet photographique « Jeunes autochtones vivant à Montreal ».
Ce reportage photo est une occasion d'en apprendre plus sur la réalité des jeunes autochtones en milieu urbain. Leurs voix sont rarement entendues dans la société canadienne, malgré leur présence démographique grandissante et la précarité des situations auxquelles certainEs font face.
Il y aura aussi une projection de courts-métrages.
